Hello, I'm Annie Field!
I'm a qualified teacher and specialist tutor with over 7+ years of private tuition experience based in Alton, Hampshire, where I have lived for the last eight years. I have two grown-up sons who I am very proud of and a beautiful tabby cat called Iggy. I enjoy anything creative and I love to keep myself fit by going to my local gym.
Why I love what I do!
I am passionate about motivating and inspiring children to help them overcome barriers in their learning to achieve success, and I firmly believe that with the right approach, every child can thrive and reach their full potential.
There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a child, whose anxiety around attending school has prohibited him from being able to access learning, sit down and write the most wonderful Minecraft adventure story, simply because he’s interested and wants to.
Pupils like this remind me why I love what I do. I’m continually inspired by their resilience, humour, and growth. They teach me as much as I teach them, and I am grateful for the value they add to my life.
